The Bentayga is aimed
at the majority of Bentley owners who already have an SUV among the eight
vehicles they own, on average, and want to drive a 2017 BentleyBentayga SUV. It is also the
first ultra-luxury SUV, taking on Range Rover’s unique dominance of the segment,
and priced above the most expensive long-wheelbase Range Rover SV Autobiography. With a base price of almost $230,000, the 2017 BentleyBentayga is the fastest, most expensive, most luxurious SUV on the market. 2017 BentleyBentayga Powered by a redesigned 6.0-liter W-12 engine that develops 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, the 2017 BentleyBentayga SUV will accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds despite weighing more than 5600 pounds. 2017 BentleyBentayga claimed top speed is a breathtaking 187 mph. We found the 2017 BentleyBentayga also corners remarkably well for such a
large, tall vehicle, thanks to the innovative anti-roll system that keeps the
body from leaning through the turns. The 2017 BentleyBentayga exterior styling brings
together familiar 2017 BentleyBentayga design cues in an SUV format, with mixed success. The 2017 BentleyBentayga is instantly recognizable as a Bentley, and while imposing and
beautifully finished, in profile it looks somewhat snub-nosed, a legacy of
sharing its basic vehicle architecture with the new Audi Q7. Inside, the beautifully finished and
lavishly equipped cabin sets a new benchmark for luxury SUVs. It’s practical,
too: The ergonomics are first rate, the all-round visibility excellent, and you
can carry a lot of luggage. The 2017 BentleyBentayga is a superbly relaxed highway cruiser,
supremely smooth, quiet and comfortable. While very few owners will ever
venture off the pavement, the Bentayga is also surprisingly accomplished
off-road. Its computer controlled all-wheel drive system offers four modes, all
of which vary parameters like ride height, throttle response, traction,
steering, and transmission shift to optimize performance in marginal
conditions. Hill Descent Control enables the 2017 BentleyBentayga to tackle steep descents,
and the W-12 engine has so much torque there is need a crawler gear to
negotiate steep climbs.
